The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal. 21:17 And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel. 21:18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass. 21:19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald; 21:20 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolyte; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst. 21:21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. 21:22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. 21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

Book of the Chronicles
28:1 And David assembled all the princes of IsraeL... the captains
over the thousands, and captains over the hundreds, and the... mighty men, and with all
the valiant men, unto Jerusalem. 2 ... Hear me, my brethren, and my people: As for me, I
had in mine heart to build an house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and
for the footstool of our God, and had made ready for the building::3 But God said unto me,
Thou shalt not build an house for my name, because thou hast been a man of war, and hast
shed blood. ... :6 ... he said unto me, Solomon thy son, he shall build my house and my
courts: for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father.
The Second
Book of the Chronicles
1:8 And Solomon said unto God, Thou hast shewed great mercy
unto David my father...:9 Now, O LORD God, let thy promise unto David my father be
established: for thou hast made me king over a people... :10 Give me now wisdom and
knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this thy
people, that is so great? :11 And God said to Solomon..thou hast not asked riches, wealth,
or honour, nor the life of thine enemies, [or] long life; but hast asked wisdom and
knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people.. :12 Wisdom and knowledge is
granted unto thee; ..I will give thee riches..wealth honour..as none of the kings have
had..before thee...
