WHAT IS HAPPENING TO OUR
CHILDREN! I heard a talk show host state that our youth are discovering sinister individuals who desire nothing more than to corrupt our youth.. and that they abound on the net.. So, whatz up?? Is it the violence devastating so many of our youth caused by TV, the Internet....??? Why is it that the cries of our youth have gone on in vain. So tell so many that it is the fault of this or that. Yes, it seems the internet is the latest to blame?? Hello?? Why would one fault such an amazing tool?? Because they have not the sense nor stomach to fathom the truth. Imagine,
there are a host of corrupters on the net doing nothing
other than trapping our kids>>> Yes, the world wide web is the latest "Scapegoat" FAULT of a degrading, self centered, commercialized America whose memory is as shallow as her belief in God, Country and Family.. Like Drugs, Crime, Poor Youth Services and Programs, Family Breakdown and an increasingly Failure to address the NEEDS of the COMMUNITY to ACT as a whole has NO BEARING! Come on. Then there are those whom blame single parent households. Shouting that parents do not care! Even going as far to say how could the parents of the perpetrators not known..... How about those whom say that mothers should be home.. yet continue to raise taxes, give large corporations the ability to gouge, and let the Tobacco, Liquor and Gambling concerns wreak havoc on so many? Then there is the film industry and the music industry and, even the President and many Christian Leaders whom fall, get back up, dust them selves off and are accepted back into the fray.. NO QUESTIONS ASKED! Can you not see that it is more than simply passing laws, giving speeches and accusing? What happened to that EXPENSIVE and HIGHLY TOUTED push to REACH YOUTH through that failure of a program titled "America's Promise"?? Lots of press. High Presidential appointments and honors.. and yet, the SAME organizations, sponsored by the same companies, touted by the same sorry, news hungry to the point of backing anything that will SELL press run the same programs and education that is the ROOT Of ALL EVIL... SHAME ON YOU America. Shame on you Mr. President! Shame on YOU Mr. Christian Leader! DO YOU TRULY BELIEVE our lonely and increasingly lost youth are safe and secure in THEIR vision of AMERICA?? What IS that vision?? What DO THEY SEE? a-
PRESIDENTS giving secrets away, lying, abusing and
destroying! Why did I change?? What delivered me from the crime and inequity and poverty and lack of assistance my ENTIRE childhood Mr. and Mrs. leaders Of America? Was it your stories? Your Teachings by DEMONSTRATION? Your Commercialization at the expense of Human Compassion? Was it your jails, your programs, your laws, your churches? How about persons whom cared; whom stepped in regardless of cause or reason.. . Not saying what I was doing wrong, but what the road was to be... From the pulpit of the paper to the Sanctuary of the masses, we hear all that we are doing wrong.. . and what is right . . . as men and women in power drop like flies into a caldron memory lapse.. Yes, Mom and Dad, forgetful is our Motto.. history lost to the endeavor of the BUCK . . as Gory details rush to quench the Forum's thirst for Blood and Dying each and every day... What and why are so many Youth LASHING out in such a Violent and Desperately Terminal Manor.. OUR COUNTRY IS ILL! It is with disease. It is frothing at the mouth with inequity and sorrow and rejoicing in the economy rather than its TRUE future ..THE CHILDREN OF THE NATION! Yes, America, you shouted your concern at the National Debt! Yes, it was MONEY that converged the masses in one large PUSH! MONEY not honor.. MONEY not family.. MONEY not TRUTH! MONEY NOT GOD!!! Yes, you cried . . . you CRIED LOOK AT THE TAXES!! You screamed: WE ARE NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE! No TEARS OF SORROW FOR CHILDREN DYING ON THE STREETS OF THE INNER CITY! Yes drugs ran like the Nile.. for years and years.. and, while13 and 14 year olds SOLD their BODIES for a hit of crack.. you balked at the expense of the cure... WHERE WERE all those men of Honor.. of FAMILY of HOPE AND LOVE FOR THEIR OWN?? And when the tide turned and flooded your community you sat still until the waters lapped at YOUR doorsteps! ALL THINGS BEGIN SOMEWHERE! And our pain and sorrow has ONLY begun! Why did you not CRY OUT when families were being destroyed in 1985?? When our CITIES were wrought with the bloodletting of inner city youth?? WHERE was THAT CRY then?? And WHERE is that cry NOW?? And do you not see that this failure is now spreading to YOUR HOUSE?>? IT MUST BE IMMUNITY to the DISEASE on the WHOLE of a nation rather than on a few.. or the DISEASE will trample us into the dust of a dried-out-blood-red-muddy-field of sorrow! Just what do YOU believe will be YOUR future? At seventy years of age, where will you be?? Whom will assist YOU if not the Youth whom are crying out: "LOVE ME-- " You know, I have LIVED
that life. I have viewed what most of you could not even
comprehend let alone bear. I KNOW what is happening and
it will NOT get any better no matter the blame nor the
laws that you pass-- if YOU do not address the
cause! Go on, go buy that car, that TV, that
FUTURE of a dream while youth are forced to endure the
worst. The barbarians are KNOCKING at YOUR door! Rock The Day Cometh LOST WAS
