| The Internet Church of God, with headquarters in Lawrenceville, Georgia, began its Grass Roots Journey as The Lighthouse Sanctuary under a maple tree on Sunday, September 16, 1994. In an effort to deliver Jesus Christ to Youth Nation Wide, Lighthouse Sanctuary soon became The Lighthouse Sanctuary Youth Foundation and expanded its operations. What began as simple Street Evangelizing soon expanded into Missionary Works in the U.S.A. By September of 1997, LSYF had developed a series of programs in its effort to Teach Youth Skills along with Delivering the Word Of Christ. By February, 1998, what had begun with two members soon included 25 members, 50 associates, 100 youth and a series of web sites. By July, 1998, LSYF included Most Amazing Gift In Christ Press, Youth Of America .Com, .Net and .Org, Hype-Ezine.Com and had garnered 30 awards and 150,000 Visitors. Since that inauspicious start, LSYF/YOA has added A2Z4U.net, a Christian Business Directory, Youth Of Australia .com, our partner site with Christian.Net.Au, and become an 750,000 persons visited site w/2500 Pages, developed, maintained and hosted by youth, with services including Hosting and Design . In an effort to expand, delivering Hope, Prayer and opportunity to many whom have asked to be included in this Bounty Of Jesus' Blessings and Revival, we have formed what this entire journey was meant to be, the ICGod.com, Internet Church of God! What has occurred was that the Ministries were formed BEFORE the Church do to the fact we had prayed that an existing Church would, after 5 hard, self supporting and successful years, invite us to be a part of their Joy. Yet Jesus, in His mighty Wisdom, has seen fit to call us to the Cloth In His name.
