Youth Of America extends its Prayers to those families and the community of our Nation who have lost so much. This last episode has our hearts in pain. We have long said that the suburbs and out lying communities were just as vulnerable to violence as the inner cities . . .
. . . to no avail.
We have called for programs for Youth and the funding necessary to operates them.
We have heard reply that the responsibility is to the Local Community, The Church and The Families..
Where were these entities BEFORE this devastation?
Did the Boys and Girls Clubs halt this?
Has the political HYPE that the State has no business in funding programs for youth and violence and to counter the extreme commercialization of Me And I Consumerism and a Lack Of TEACHING in the FUNDAMENTALS of Honor, Forgiveness, Brother-Sisterhood, even what our Founding Father's DREAMS and GOALS were have something to do with two loners whom became mass killers because they felt shunned...
What does this truly mean? I heard the Sheriff state "what parents would allow their children to gain access to firearms"..??
Where was the : "What a senseless act? HOW could this have happened? What would lead TWO teens to DO THIS ?? "
NOT HOW they did it, BUT WHY?? Do you think the families of these two, now dead, youth are without PAIN?
Why are there youth in these communities even thinking of such as what occurred?
"OH! We do not need a Rocky to come and speak.. hey, we do not have the problems of the poor, the inner cities.. heck, we got the clubs and the resources, our SCHOOLS KNOW what we are doing... Go To The Inner City, they need you there..."
Yes, I am sorry to say, this WAS an "almost" quote to me when I saw problems in our own communities school and approached them... IMAGINE!!
Yes, OUR Voices have been raised and YET the cries go out, It Is Them Guns..
But, as we have diligently stated for the past 5 years, the problem is much deeper. What if you remove the firearms? Is this the answer? Or another cry that will only produce serial killers and rapists?
Seems we are so busy "moving forward" in this "Economy" generated by Commercials and pressure, we forget that our youth are that much deeper in THEIR sorrow and a desire to be part of an increasingly difficult and pressurized world.
And so, families are now with pain beyond belief. Our CHILDREN are in shock, coast to coast.. and the inner city youth just shrug it off.. you see, they live with this every day.. and yet we do not hear nor see what we see and hear out in OK...
It Is Not OK...
What FACTOR in the COMMUNITY would lead to this? These are the questions that have been answered by YOA and many others long before this outbreak of terrible loss and sorrow!
Our nation must understand that we are producing thousands of Youth just like the (as been demonstrated these last 2 years) two whom thought NOTHING of taking the innocence of life...
SHAME on you AMERICA! Shame On You Pastors, Ministers and others whom SHUN these youth whom are crying for attention so much they pick up a gun and kill by 11 and 12 years of age!
It is YOU politicians, Leaders and others that have allowed this senseless act to become fact!
WHAT democracy believing in freedom, rich, and with enough resources to take the forefront for the WORLD in Yugoslavia, allow this terrible act to take place not once, but dozens of times...on its OWN soil..and to CHILDREN!!
You raise the penalties, you CRY out THROW them all in Jail, yet you then send Billions for favor with the world and NOTHING for the future of our nation's CHILDREN!
Stop blaming the GANGS; stop blaming the PARENTS!!

TERRIBLE has our hearts so bled for each touch of pain visited on the ENTIRE YOUTH COMMUNITY OF OUR NATION!!
INCLUDING THOSE OF THE POOR COMMUNITIES OF THIS WEALTHY NATION!
YOU ARE WRONG, Sirs and Madams.. Politicians, Spokespersons and yes, those parents whom have heard the call that no matter how much love, training and care, YOU are as VULNERABLE as those living in communities where the murder of THOUSANDS of YOUTH of Color and Poverty wage a daily battle against loss and sorrow!
It is TIME to wake UP America, take heed of your Creation, hear and read FACTS IN PROPHESY.. IN HISTORY, IN OUR CHILDREN CRYING OUT FOR HELP AND GETTING NONE!
Yes, our grandmother's at seventy lift their ailing husbands at eighty off the ground when they fall several times a day, while Medicare and Medicaid pay Rich Doctors and Corporations to send a nurse out once a day for 15 minutes and bill at 4,000.00 a month.. and cry out NO! when the grandmother asks for 1,200.00 for a live in helper and forgo the nurses..
Do you not see it?
We care NOTHING about those whom made our lives what they may be or those Children whom will be or NOT be there for us when we are seventy..
just sell those sneakers and jeans and cars and goodies.. keep the economy GOING and blame and label any voice that cries out.. "HOLD ON HERE ..." as liberals, communists, lazy, et al...
And so, once more, OUR HEARTS CRY OUT FOR YOU MOM AND DAD AND SISTER AND BROTHER! Your losses will be a part of you the remainder of your lives. I pray that you will not SIT STILL, but take it to the streets. WE MUST APPLY EVERY RESOURCE AVAILABLE to educate, intervene, assist and improve ALL YOUTH.. even those whom become the very vile of what we may deem the better part of our great Nation...
