God is calling you.  Are you listening?

How Does God Measure Success?

How do we define success? Often we call "successful" the executive who has built the biggest company, the pastor who has the largest congregation or the most impressive church building, or the fellow Christian who boasts of leading the most people to Christ. Does God see things this way? NO! In His knowledge, He knows that the business man built his business dishonestly, the pastor increased his membership by diluting his messages, and the Christian may have produced many so-called converts, but few true disciples.

Was the Old Testament prophet Ezekiel successful? God told him in advance that few would heed his words. Yet Ezekiel was faithful to proclaim God's words to His people in captivity. Was Jeremiah successful? He spent his entire ministry warning of God's impending judgement upon the southern kingdom of Judah. Yet it is never recorded that a single person paid attention to Jeremiah's tearful warnings.  Are you successful by God's standards?

Yes, you are successful.  You are successful by virtue of the fact that you have the time and the ability to read these words.  You are succesful by virtue of the fact that you have the ability to understand and interpret the word of God.  You are successful because you are you.  God has extended his hand to you and it is about   time that you find it in your heart to extend your hand to others.  Are you too selfish to even conceive giving a little to those less fortunate than yourself.     Bless you child, for you are a point of light yet to be discovered.    Why don't you take the initiative and help us help others less fortunate than you.  This Thanksgiving Season, we are planning to feed 250,000+ homeless or abandoned children around the USA and Canada.  Make a donation to light up a child's heart, and the rewards to you will be beyond your wildest dreams.  Send your donation to:
